movie mania :D

28th dec:

Met up with huiyi and yujia to watch death note 2. i think the movie is super nice and it is all about geniuses trying to solve the mystery, using logic and deduction lol. After watching the show i feel smarter! :D Also, the cinema seats at cine is super high class; armrest, plenty of leg room and a comfortable angle of tilt to allow all the audience to see the movie screen. YES, those people with BIG heads or spikey hair shall not be cursed! haha.

Oh ya for those who didnt bother to catch deathnote 1, you can watch it too! Perhaps you may need someone to explain some stuff to you during the movie.

One more thing, shopping with yujia is tough haha :D

29th dec:

Went to watch Night At The Museum with 4h along with T-net club @ Taman Jurong.

The price was unbelievably, disgustingly miraculously, dirt cheap.

i paid SGD $4.70, guess what i got.

a Friday after 5pm movie ticket
popcorn and drink
Macdonalds student meal.

i thought "哇!捡到宝了!"

However it comes with a price.

We watched the germovie with a whole lot of ________ (i dont want to be labelled as a racist blogger), but if i give them a piece of pork and i think they will be eternally grateful lol.

ya so they were a disgusting bunch of people, staged a popcorn war with us lol!! they were bad audiences, really bad. Even i was pissed off la! Then there was once i had 7 unpoped popcorns in my mouth, then i spat it at them in front. oops.retribution lol haha. For more infomation, read fredrick's blog

i really dunno why, the stupid internet cant work for me! It really pisses me off when i try to play maple and lags until there is no tomorrow! wah 真的是烂到.......! (dancers please laugh! old joke liao ) lol sucks can! Wah lao, i using starhub leh...the 12k bps one leh... sian still so slow. Maybe there is something wrong with my router or something? aiyah never mind la, wait till o lvl results come out den use MY money to go buy new one lo LOL.

i think my mother is crazy la, i was choosing my subject combination and i was kind enough to tell her which subjects am i taking at nj la. You know what she said?

" 你去读哪种科目, 以后会赚钱的. 不会赚钱的不要跟我去读,不然我以后没有钱打麻将 hor!"

and yesterday she told me to go into computer engineering because her friend's son travels to countries like USA and Japan.

Then i said : " oh 我对电脑没有兴趣."

And she said:" 那你又整天玩电脑."

4H chalet. ( 18th - 20th dec) part1

There is a vertical comic strip that i made to briefly tell you about our chalet, in case u are just too lazy to read those words below :)

Day 1:

The few of us on the left went to vivomart at vivocity ! :D (not sure if i left out some people)
Actually, vivomart is just Giant hypermarket situated at Vivocity -.-.
So we bought our barbeque stuff and made our way to Costa Sands Resort at Pasir Ris.
On our way there, we were regreting or rather blaming hui hui for not choosing Aranda, but never mind la we shall make do with it. haha.

i brought my MAHJONG set along so as to cut costs as we do not need to rent them. YAY clever me! :D

HOWEVER, i knew that 3 mahjong addicts were travelling with us until we reached the chalet. The moment we stepped in,

"WAH LAO EH! hurry up leh, mahjong la!" O.0 (trust me, its really the moment we stepped in)





Yes, they are the 3 mahjong-musketeers haha. The addiction was finally unleashed from within. Now read the cartoon, but beware you may just die of an exploding brain. *winks*

i guess these three will never getLAO REN CHI DAI ZHEN (the alzemeir or dunno wad sai disease) because they are extremely active and experienced mahjong-musketeers. LOL

THESE 3 PEOPLE AFTER SITTING ON THEIR SEAT SINCE 2PM DID NOT LEAVE THEIR SEATS UNTIL 9PM AT NIGHT!

The only few seconds they left their seats waas when fred wanted a change of seats as he thought he was on a losing streak LOL

Luckily they say on plastic/metal chairs, if they were wooden ones, coal would have been produced! haha. -.-

Oh ya that we had bbq that night too and i realised that some people in our class have hidden talents :S

1 month and two days ago...

This entry is not written for your reading pleasure, but rather for my own personal memory. Dont curse and swear if this entry is not entertaining or whatsoever.

I was happily watching SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE , when i was enjoying myself to the fullest, the fucking news came, MY GRANDFATHER JUST PASSED AWAY.

"Oh what the hell," i thought.

It was 21Nov 2006, Monday.

Then the usual stuff proceeded, with the chinese funeral and stuff, actually they were nothing much. There was a practice that required any one in the family to burn joss papers continuously for the four days of the funeral and without letting the flame go out. It is said to light the way for the deceased to go to the nether world?

Was i really very sad during the funeral? No, i would say. Until when it was 3am in the morning where everyone was sleeping around the coffin and i was the only one left to burn the papers.

It was then i remembered the times that i spent with him, i cried sliently.
I tried to take that in my stride, but at that point in time, i cant,really cant.

Thinking back, was he an absolutely perfect role model?

yes and no.

Let me just tell you what he did:

1) HE WAS A GAMBLER, not an abusive one who extorts money from his family( or maybe he was but i really dont know). He did not fufil his duty as a father of his family and only cared about gambling. My poor popo had to work at a CONSTRUCTION SITE and grow vegetables to make ends meet. She and her children suffered a lot, but now she's a lucky woman with lots of fillial children and grandchildren. My father told me once, my gong gong was very clever; he could built the exact same house just after looking at someone built it ONCE. yes, just once, but he was nt interested in his job and often went to gamble. I despise him for that.

However, he treated me very well and i could say that he brought me up, and really he brought me to school everyday while i was growing up. Since nursery, he would fetch me from the kindergarden and i would demand him to carry me on his back ( i was light and skinny then!) and we would pass by this mama shop and i would buy my jack & jill barbequed flavour potato chips from the shop before going home. EVERYDAY, when i was 2years old to 6 years old, a total of 4 years. A very dedicated gong gong i would say :D

Primary 1, i was still staying at my old house then and i could jolly well walk to school. Still everyday, he took me to school and fetched me everyday, regardless rain or shine. Again, dedication.

Primary 2, i moved to my new home, i couldnt walk to school anymore, i had to take a feeder bus. He once again took me to the bus stop everyday and looked at me board the bus before heading home.

As i grew older, i became more independant, i did not really need his help anymore. Subsequently, i went to school alone, but new problems arised. My ankle would hurt occasionally, and i would be in pain. i would run to his room and asked him to put ointment on my ankle. He did that and even massaged my leg, making it fell even better. Thank you.

Not long after, he moved to my uncle's house, but he would reutrn every sunday, and i would have a talk with him. Nothing much, just a small chat between a gong gong and his grandson.
Come to think of it, i was really happy that i talked to him, at least i communicated and understood his feelings about some stuff. Once again thank you for the encouragements that you gave me.

He really did a lot for me and i sincerely cherish those moments i spent with him. Thank you and i will miss you lots. Rest in peace.

One month after his demise, i thought i would not cry when typing this entry, but i still did. Good night guys, good night to you too :)

i think the song waipo is absolutely suitable for my mood now. T.T
