I have seen many different posters for the prevention of animal cruelty, but no poster could really hit me hard how we ill treat and abuse these animals.
"Don't treat animals the way you don't want to be treated." how true can that be. The development of the human race for the past few million or even billion years have done us good. Civilisations, culture, religion, technology are just some of the many things we have created. However, we are still simply not treating animals with due respect. Cases of irresponsible pet owners who abandon their pets or inhumane people who abuse cats or other animals have been happening and will still continue to occur. What is the world coming to? Who knows maybe a very long time ago, our intellectual ability was on par with animals roaming the earth. It was just that our brains developed more quickly than them and most of our intelligence came from contact with animals. So we can say that we owe our advancement of our human intelligence to them.
So why the hell are we still abusing them? I am not saying that everyone in the world should be vegans, but at least we should not allow them to endure pains that we won't be able endure if we were the ones being abused.
Sometimes people think of all kinds of stupid ways in order to fufil the demands of their taste buds. Fishermen cut off fins from sharks and throw these "amputated" sharks back into the sea. Without fins, the sharks would definitely die! So these shark are left to sink to the bottom of the sea and souffocate to death. Once the king of the sea and the tertiery consumer of the food chain, its dominance and awe have all been reduced to zero by humans. So hell to those people who insist to have shark's fin soup on celebratory and special occasions. (how happy can you get when you slurp your soup and think of the plight of the shark that have been killed.)
There are also people who enjoy cracking a monkey's skull and feast on the monkey's brain while the monkey is struggling in pain and screaming for its life. For a better picture of the "feast", look at my top right hand picture and exchange the positions of the monkeys and human.
No matter how many anti animal abuse associations in the world, there will still be some people who crave for such "delicacies". Thus it would be impossible to eliminate these bastards from the world.
